In his most recent outing Adam Bowden delivered an outstanding performance to finish 2nd place at the Nokia Windsor Triathlon. Adam has performed well so far in the British Triathlon Super Series in what promises to be an exciting debut season for him but this ranks as his best multisport performance yet.
Adam finished 2nd behind Stuart Hayes who was the firm favourite ahead of the race. Stuart Hayes led from the start and headed off on the bike with a 45 second lead, however a chasing pack including Adam closed the gap going into the run. Adam closed the gap some more but couldn’t quite do enough as Stuart Hayes took the victory in 1:52.14 with Adam only thirteen seconds behind.
