Rachel Joyce has signed up to race in Fusion kit for the 2009 season. Rachel is a Pro Triathlete who races at Ironman Distance for the theTriLife.com racing team. Rachel entered the world of Triathlon from a swimming background, having swum to a national level up to the age of 18. In 2005 at UK Ironman 70.3 she qualified for the World 70.3 Championship and went on to become world champion in her age group (25-29yrs) in 2006.

In 2008 Rachel stepped up to Ironman distance and began racing in the professional ranks where she came 5th at Ironman Florida in a time of 9:37:10 and in 2009 in only her second Ironman Rachel finished on the podium at Ironman South Africa, taking 3rd place in 9:37:00.

Looking forward to the rest of the season Rachel is aiming to qualify for the Ironman World Champs in Hawaii, and plans to race at Ironman Lanzarote in May and then will look to race in some shorter 70.3 distance races over the summer.
